FCCLA, We will have a FCCLA meeting this Wednesday, March 7, during 2nd advisory at 12:30 in room 502. We will discuss upcoming activities: Ellis County Youth Expo Creative  Arts and Day in the Ring. If you want to participate in in one or both of these events you need come to the meeting.


This past weekend at the Regional Powerlifting Meet Takaira Scott placed 3rd overall in her weight class.  and Joseline Vega placed 4th overall in her class. Top 2 lifters advance to the state meet. Congratulate these two seniors on an outstanding season and career.


Congratulations to the following students who made a first division on their solo and are qualified to go to State Solo and Ensemble Contest: Jennefer Cabriales, Nathan Parker, Gloria Arreola , Judith Colmenero, Jackie Garcia, Juliana Urbina, Maya Coumpy, Miguel Delgado, Jocelyn Garcia, Cheyenne Horman, Cameron Ralston, Abigail Hernandez, CW Admundson, Maritza Juarez, Oscar Delgado, Arthur Arroyo, Karime Arvizu, Alan Garcia, Maelby Hernandez, Alonso Sicairos, Paulina Silva, Jonathan Tapia, and Kenya Chairez

Group, Organization, and Club pictures will be this Thursday, March 8. Please be sure to wear or bring your shirt for your corresponding group(s). A schedule will be sent out later today.


The JV and Varsity tennis teams competed in the Wills Point tennis tournament last Thursday and Friday.  In JV girls singles, Sachell Chavez had wins against Athens and Rockwall and on Varsity, Kim Garcia had a win against Pleasant Grove.  In JV boys doubles, Aurilio Salazar and Trey Johnston had a win against Rockwall. In JV girls doubles, Kylie Loredo and Guadalupe Munoz had a win against Crandall, and Perla Garcia and Graciella Gamino had wins against Crandall, Sunnyvale and Rockwall Heath to win consolation.


Juniors please continue to sell your candy and bring Ms. Biffle the money as you get it.  The candy is now sold 2 for a $1 so students find a junior or teacher with a box and help us raise some funds.


Prom tickets are on sale now $40 for one and $60 for two until Spring Break (next Friday).  Get your tickets before the price goes up.


IDs and dress code. Teachers, please make sure you continue to enforce in the class what we are doing in the halls every morning. If students refuse to comply, please notify the office.


SENIORS:   Please contact Ms. Perez by email with the list of all scholarships you ahve currently completed.

KYLE KING SCHOLARSHIP is due to Ms. Perez by Friday, March 9. 2018
