ATTENTION: 10th, 11th and 12th grade students. Ferris High School will offer the TSI on February 27th.  The TSI is the college entrance exam needed for 2 year colleges and for students who want to take dual credit during their 11th and 12th grade year.  See Ms. Perez in the College and Career Center to register.  Registration will end February 16th.

Students who have registered for the ACT test scheduled for February 27th here at FHS  must complete the test registration forms on Tuesday, February 13th during lunch.  Check your email for additional information. If the forms are not completed, you will not be allowed to test.

Congratulations to Tashlynn Duncan on her acceptance to Tyler Junior College and Trinity Valley Community College for the fall of 2018

Seniors, there is a parent meeting in the cafeteria on Wednesday, February 21, at 6:30 P.M. to discuss Senior breakfast and Baccalaureate.

We will have our first Saturday school this Saturday, February 10th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 P.M. Please check your email or the sign posted near the snack line to see if you need to serve a Saturday school. You may also check with your AP or the Attendance office.

Students and teachers, please remember that boys should not wear earrings or any other piercings while at school and girls are only allowed to wear earrings. Girls should not have face, nose, or lip rings.

During breakfast and lunch, food should not be taken into the library/coffee shop. The only food that should be in that area is the food sold in that area.

The tennis team competed in the Corsicana Tennis Tournament on Thursday Feb. 8. Taylor Strebeck and Maria Velasquez had a win against Venus in mixed doubles, Perla Garcia and Graciella Gamino had a win against Westwood in girls doubles, Sachell Chavez had wins against Wills Point and Corsicana in girls singles, and Maya Coumpy and Raisa Martinez had wins against Wills Point, Palmer, Kaufman, and Paschal to win 1st place in the A division of girls doubles. Overall, the entire tennis team competed well at the tournament.
